Session Description
In this climate of heated racial tensions, politics, COVID-19, schooling at home, and so many external factors, some employees' decision-making abilities were skewed to operate from an emotional stance versus a rational stance. It's normal to have strong feelings and beliefs about what is occurring in the world around us; however, we have to master our mindset to continue being productive in our work environment. It can be assumed that the negative impact of stress on employees' productivity has exceeded $300 billion, as previously reported by Health Advocate. We all deal with life but employees need to adapt to the organizational culture while managing the competing demands for their time and energy at work, in their personal life, and with their personal feelings.
